Two Words...

HOLY SHIT.

The Dark Knight was AMAZING. Just, wow. Amazing. Not Oscar-worthy as some might suggest, but Heath played the part phenomenally; it was written for him, he is The Joker. Had I not known Heath was playing that role, I never would have guessed it was him, you couldn't tell where he left off and the character began.

Hopefully Rachel Dawes is dead for real and not for pretend like they faked Lt. Gordon's death. I'm guessing she's perma-dead though, she has to be for Harvey's transformation into Two-Face to make sense. Katie Holmes was awful in the role but Maggie Gyllenhaal was even worse. And she's ugly too. And a horrible actress. But she is the only thing I would have changed about the movie. Everything else was perfect.

Aaron Eckart becoming Two-Face was also WOW. Gross. But wow.

And Christian, I can never say enough about Christian Bale. Fabulous. Although, I could do without the husky Batman voice. Also, I wish his shirt was off a lot more in the film. Oh well. Maybe next time. Wonderful. Wonderful. Wonderful.

It was kind of sad to watch though at the end, when it was clear this was the last time Batman and The Joker would meet, and The Joker's lines were something to the effect of Batman couldn't kill him because of his rules and The Joker couldn't kill Batman because he was too much fun, and he said something about them being destined to do this forever. It's unfortunate that can never happen now, because Heath and Christian made quite the pair.

Fabulous movie. Go see it. Now.
